The Firm, which traces its roots to 1927, has particularly deep and broad experience representing banks and market leaders in the jewelry and diamond trade and the entertainment/media industry, as well as in the gaming, supermarket and manufacturing industries.

Practice Areas 

Our General Corporate and Securities Group has local and cross-border experience in helping corporations, limited liability companies, general and limited partnerships, sole proprietorships, and individuals.

Our Banking and Finance Group has domestic and international experience in counseling lenders and borrowers in projects, varied in size and omplexity, ranging from the structuring to the closing, as well as the resolution of problems.

Our Construction Law and Litigation Group represents contractors, construction managers, engineers, architects, and governmental authorities major public and private projects, in both the metropolitan New York area and beyond.

Our Technology Group has been advising technology firms, working in bio technology, broad band communication, computer software and hardware, e-commerce, electronic components, engineering consulting, medical device, nuclear irradiation, and video conferencing, for many years.

Our Litigation Group represents clients in and advises them how to avoid civil, administrative, and certain criminal matters, in state and federal courts, ranging from the garden variety contract actions for damages to complex commercial claims, both in an outside of New York City.

Our Real Estate Group represents real estate professionals, banks and other financial institutions, corporations, and individual clients as both buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, and borrowers and lender, focusing on not only the legal aspects but also on the business fundamentals of simple and complex transactions.

Our Tax and Tax Planning Group advises both domestic and foreign clients, such as real estate developers, operators, syndicators, and investors, on matters within the United States and abroad.

Our Trusts and Estate Group assists clients in transferring their assets to their beneficiaries, minimizing exposure to estate, gift, and generation-skipping taxes.
