Description of Firm

Tan Avukatlik Burosu (Tan Law Firm) has been at the disposal of clients since 2001. Mr. Baris TAN is the founder of the firm and he is responsible for developing the firm's strategy and overseeing its implementation.

Our firm serves companies and other corporations as well as private persons. Our services mainly focus on fields of law that are required in business activities.

Tan Law Firm is based in Istanbul, and has an affiliated office in Ankara and correspondent lawyers in most major cities in Turkey, specialized in the same fields as ours, which enables us to be active and effective all over the country. In addition, we are also in close cooperation with various academicians and financial advisers who all are experts in their fields for a complete service to our clients.

We are supported by the latest communication facilities, along with extensive on-line resources which give us access to a vast array of information, including all Turkish as well as the most relevant international rules and regulations. Our law firm is able to advise clients in Turkish and English, and we can prepare all required correspondence and legal documentation in these languages.

Tan Law Firm has mainly specialized in corporate law. We can draft and review agreements, establish companies, and give corporate advice on day to day matters. We have a strong practice in civil and commercial litigation, representing our clients at any level of the Turkish judiciary system. We have extensive experience in the fields of labor law, property law, administrative law and disposition, collection and management of non-performing loans.
